| The reason it is beneficial to assign it to a statslot is that JaGEx will then be able to, for instance, disallow the use of aura slots within the Wilderness (as an example) while balancing Boss-killing (and other PvE with high combat content) and PvP. Instead of crying that it's taking a feature from other excellent MMOs feature, maybe you should look at the reasons the game is being launched and what it's aimed at instead of just complaining about it. the issue is that the majority gamers today don't have the knowledge to see that. What a mistake! I read the loyalty points issue but didn't realize they didn't release it. Lol sorry I didn't sign in when I was posting. And yes they have done multiple things to Wow the players. Take a look at the latest clothes. You pick a classs for the clothes! Now there's an aura. the rewards from dunging as well as armors are now modeled after WoW armour. Look at the elves now. Aura, are they kidding? This game might be interesting, but there making the game easier now because for every new slot they will be rewarded with an increased bonus and more hits or a new effect. Also, Lol Keep the amazing effects weapons. I am enjoying playing this slot... And the first post when I mentioned WoWing the game, I was talking about Aura slots. You don't choose a "class" for your clothes. You select pre-designed outfits that you can customize completely at no cost. Dungeoneering was developed to be competitive with other games like MMORPGs. RuneScape at this point, was not able to incorporate a "raiding" element. RuneScape introduced this feature to stop their players from switching to other games such as World of Warcraft, not to try to emulate other games.
