Epic Games is upgrading  fortnite materials again to make modifications to the limited-time Avengers: Infinity War style, Infinity Gauntlet, which features the mega-powerful Thanos. Specifically, the upgrade will alter his attributes to make him stronger, but also somewhat easier to kill.
Starting off, Thanos' Beam is currently deadlier; it does 20 damage instead of 12. Additionally, punch damage is increased from 80 to 100. Balancing this out somewhat is that Thanos' health now stands at 500 rather than 800. Regarding these changes, Epic said in a article on Reddit, "Our purpose is to allow more folks to genuinely experience the power of Fortnite Items Thanos, while also helping you feel more powerful when wielding the gauntlet."
Today's update also addresses loot drops in the Infinity Gauntlet mode.
The new Fortnite update also makes some overall changes, such as lowering the height of the conflict bus and a larger storm ring at the beginning of matches. These moves are intended to provide more players with a fair shot at playing Thanos. A plan for acquiring the Infinity Gauntlet involved leaping from this struggle bus at the last minute and hovering in the atmosphere until the comet carrying the gauntlet crashed into the island.
