Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff insists the country will host the "World Cup of World Cups" despite a series of setbacks to affect preparations for the event.

Rousseff used her Twitter account to counter FIFA president Sepp Blatter  Cheap Quincy Enunwa Jersey , who a day earlier accused Brazil of waiting too long to implement World Cup projects.

"Brazilians start 2014 confident that they are going to host the World Cup of World Cups," Rousseff said. "In Brazil, the World Cup is going to be at home because this is the home of football."

Brazil's World Cup preparations have been hit by construction delays to stadiums, roads, airports and hotels.

Regional government official Mohamud Saleh confirmed the incident at Damasa area in Lafey sub-county which happened at around 11 am.

Saleh said the armored vehicle was being used in the construction of the Kenya-Somalia border security wall. He said the blast happened while the soldiers were on a routine patrol of the porous border.

"It's true the incident happened. I am waiting for brief from the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) on all the details. An APC ran over an Improvised Explosive Device, killing at least one personnel on board," Saleh said.

He said no arrest has been made so far, adding that more security officers have been mobilized and are pursuing the attackers.

The region is an Al-Shabaab hotspot area where security vehicles have run over explosive devices in the past.

ANKARA, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- Two civilians carrying military vehicles were killed on Tuesday in a roadside bomb attack by the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Turkey's southeastern province of Diyarbakir, local media reported.

The group detonated a hand-made bomb in Cinar district while two armored military vehicles were passing on the Diyarbakir-Bismil highway.

The two dead were from a contractor company hired for transfer of military vehicles from capital Ankara to Siirt province  Cheap Morris Claiborne Jersey , the agency reported.

Security forces found a second bomb set-up just five meters away from the scene during the inspection.
