Buffalo Bills vs. Cincinnati Bengals: Nathan Peterman
Youth Customized Buffalo Bills Jerseys , Marcus Murphy earn game balls The Buffalo Bills' starters were flat-out embarrassed on both sides of the ball on Sunday night at home against the Cincinnati Bengals. In a game like that, it can be hard to find the positives, but there were some that were masked by the overall performance of the entire team. Here are the game ball recipients for the Bills' third preseason game:QB Nathan PetermanAs much as we all wanted Josh Allen to win this starting job, Peterman may have closed the door. With the second unit, Peterman went 16-for-21 with 200 yards and a touchdown, while Allen went 6-for-12 with 34 yards and five sacks, but that's another story in itself. Over the first three preseason games, Peterman has undoubtedly been the best performer from the quarterback group, and the most consistent. Through three preseason games, Peterman is 33-for-42 with 431 yards and three touchdowns. From where Josh Allen appears to be, I wouldn't be surprised if Peterman is named the Week one starter. RB Marcus MurphyNot only has Murphy solidified his spot on the roster, he is making a push to dethrone Chris Ivory as the backup to LeSean McCoy. Murphy had another solid game with 11 carries and 58 yards. He has a patient running style and waits for the offensive line's blocks to develop. Murphy could be a good option for the Bills to take on the backup role of LeSean McCoy. LB Tremaine EdmundsEdmunds started slowly
www.billsauthorizedshops.com , as did the rest of the first-team defense. As the game progressed, he seemed to be more comfortable with the flow of the game. He was able to fill his gaps well, and his closing speed down the line really showed why he was a first-round pick. In coverage, he settled in as well, jumping a curl route in the slot where he almost came up with the interception. Edmunds finished the game with seven total tackles. There are plenty of question marks on this team, but Edmunds becoming a very good linebacker in the NFL is not one of them.Bills Links, 8/20: After another dirty play, Jarvis Landry not making any friends in Buffalo While Jarvis Landry may be a talented football player, has a growing reputation to fans and members of the Buffalo Bills as a dirty player with a propensity to regularly deliver high crackback blocks.
