There's no doubt about it: Nicolas Ghesquiere knows exactly what he's up to at Louis Vuitton. The designer sent his second major Tiffany Outlet collection for the brand down his Paris runway yesterday morning, and the results felt like a strong continuation on what he's built so far. On top of that, a lot of the bags were quite good. While there isn't a set date for this increase, many sales associates have told shoppers to expect the price hike around middle of February to early March. Similar to Hermès, the expected price increase is 6%-10%. In 2014, there was Tiffany And Co Outlet only one price increase for Louis Vuitton, but in years prior, there had always two increases per year. This is why some shoppers discussing this issue on the PurseForum are worried about the upcoming increase–the length of time since the last one may mean that Tiffany Rings they're in for a bigger hike than usual.
However, it's worth noting that some sales associates are telling their customers they know nothing of a price increase, and that if there is one, it likely won't happen until spring. Typically, stores and their associates are not made aware of the date of the increase until a couple weeks before it happens, and that news hits the shoppers and our PurseForum right after. We'll let you know if we hear more, but if you have been eying a Louis Tiffany Bangle Vuitton piece, you might want to get it now–even if the rumors about a February increase end up being bogus, it surely won't be long until prices do go up.
It's amazing how quickly Nicolas Ghesquiere has changed the aesthetic at Louis Vuitton. It's one thing to come in to a globally recognized brand after the decade-and-a-half tenure of a legend like Marc Jacobs and put together your own collection with your own quirks; it's quite another to do that in a way that the industry buys into whole-heartedly, as it seems to with Ghesquiere's Vuitton.
Ghesquiere has already established the core of his handbag line, and that's mainly Tiffany Earrings what you'll find in these lookbook images of Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2015, alongside a couple of 70s-style refreshes on the iconic Alma. The bags are good in the way that Ghesquiere has been good all along--they're casual and true to the brand, but they feel nothing at all like what came before them during the Jacobs era.
I was thinking about brands that are popular but that I don't cover that much anymore, and Louis Vuitton came to mind. Like many others, my first high-end designer bag was from the brand, Tiffany Bracelets and it was the tiny Wapity Clutch (which I still own and still adore). Over the years, I picked up a few limited edition pieces, but I started to pull away from the brand and toward others. Louis Vuitton is most known for its monogram canvas, and while it has tried to distance itself from some of its most popular bags, it seems the people have spoken and Monogram may be making a comeback for the brand in a decidedly up-market way. The first monogram bag I've liked from the brand in Tiffany Necklaces quite a while is the Louis Vuitton Pallas. |
