ZHENGZHOU Off White Nike UK , Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- A new China-Europe freight train service began Monday, linking Zhengzhou, capital of central China's Henan Province, with Munich, Germany.

A train loaded with electrical equipment left Zhengzhou Monday night and will arrive at Munich 15 to 16 days later.

The train will start its return trip on Sept. 5.

Zhengzhou opened its first China-Europe freight train route to Hamburg in July 2013. The number of cargo trains has increased dramatically under the Belt and Road Initiative.

The new route to Munich will help lower transportation costs to southern and central European countries, said Huo Xiaohua Nike Air Presto Uncaged UK , a customs manager with Zhengzhou International Hub Development and Construction Co., Ltd.

Munich is renowned for its auto industry. The new freight route will also boost the import of brand name automobiles in the future, Huo said.

BOGOTA, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos on Tuesday oversaw the final withdrawal of weapons handed over by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) rebels.

At a ceremony in the rural outskirts of Fonseca, a town in the northern province of Guajira, Santos said the shipment marked "the last breath of the conflict" between the rebels and government forces Nike Air Max 270 UK , which had lasted 53 years.

"With this disarmament, with (the withdrawal) of the last containers, the conflict truly ends and a new phase begins in the life of our nation," Santos said.

The president was accompanied by the head of the United Nations mission in Colombia, Jean Arnault, as well as FARC representatives.

Arnault echoed Santos' words, saying the "exhaustive process" of disarming the rebels marked a new era.
