We have found that the temperature to obtain the optimal curl is at a steady and consistent 400 Degrees Fahrenheit (204° Celsius). That's why we engineered the TYME Iron to heat at only this temperature. Remember, you do not want to leave the heat on your hair for an extended period of time, so make sure to glide the iron down your hair (from root to tip) to create more beautiful and fuller curls! If you want more heat, glide slower. For less heat, glide faster! It's that simple That being the case, you can imagine how difficult it is for someone like me to aspire to have perfect, wavy Lauren Conrad-esque hair. I've found the curling iron particularly diffcult to master for a variety of reasons (most of which are pretty much just personal problems), I could never get a hang of the whole "using a flatiron to curl hair" thing, and all of those special tyme iron you see on TV that seem too good to be true? Well, they generally are. So, when I saw ads for the TYME Iron all over my Facebook newsfeed over the past several months, I was convinced that it, too, was just some kind of scam, and that there was no way that something so simple could actually work. Ever the ~*investigative journalist*~, I reached out to the people at TYME hair for an iron, and what I got was my new favorite hair tool ever. |
