MyCareer Free Agency When you've reached a certain level in MyCareer, it is possible to influence your team's free-agency choices. The MyPlayer can pick five targets to be open for agency which the front office can strive to acquire. This is a new aspect and an incentive for MyCareer's gruelling grind. The period of free agency is absurd. The reality that five of the players chosen will be joining your team in free agency is not explained. It doesn't matter what salary cap you have. In my most recent save, Jayson Tatum and Brandon Ingram joined the Cleveland Cavaliers with contracts that were at their maximum.
