The Barrie Colts defenceman, who impressed many with his play for Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championship, is the top-ranked skater in the February rankings. He has 19 goals and 24 assists for 43 points in 45 games with the Colts this season. Kootenay Ice forward Sam Reinhart ranked second and Kingston Frontenacs forward Sam Bennett continued to hold down the third spot. Reinhart, who also played for Canada at the World Juniors, leads the Ice in scoring with 84 points in 47 games while Bennett leads the Frontencas in scoring with 82 points in 49 games.
